Over 105 new cases of Covid-19 registered in Gulu district within 14 days.
Gulu District Covid-19 Taskforce has registered 105 new cases of Coronavirus in the last 14 days amidst fear of a third wave.
Dr. Kenneth Cana, the Acting Gulu District Health Officer says out of the 105 new cases, 86 patients are under Home Based Care Treatment while 19 patients are admitted at both St Mary’s hospital Lacor and Gulu Regional Referral Hospital.
According to Dr. Cana, the Gulu’s positivity rate has risen from 2.92% to 3.14% in the last 14 days which is a clear indication that the situation is getting worst again.
So far 126 people have succumbed to the virus in the district since the outbreak in March 2020.
