Caroline Lakot, 19, was crowned Face of Gulu City 2025/26 at an event at Bomah Hotel Ltd in Gulu City on Friday night.
The pageant, themed “Promoting Acholi Culture,” saw Lakot beat other contestants to claim the title.
The event, organized by Role Model Foundation in conjunction with Gulu City Council, also saw Peace Cleopatra Ayaa, 19, named 1st runner-up, and Lakisa Patricia Olanya, 22, named 2nd runner-up.
Special awards included:
1- Miss Popularity: Patience Nana Acen.
2- Miss Creativity: Gladys Randy Aber.
3- Miss Heritage: Caroline Lakot.
4- Miss Talent: Barbra Apiyo.
5- Miss Conservation: Lakisa Patricia Olanya.
6- Rising Woman: Lakisa Patricia Olanya.
Meanwhile in the Little Face of Gulu City 2025/26 category, 9-year-old Nyapolo Princess Delight emerged winner, beating her counterparts.
Nyapolo Princess, a pupil at Mount Everest Nursery and Primary School, beat Nimaro Jasmine Favour, 7, a pupil at Mama Catherine Kindergarten & Primary School, who became 1st runner-up, and Amaro-Rwot Donia Rakai, 10, a pupil at Light-ray Primary School, who came 2nd runner-up.
