Story of Acidri Roy known monotonously as Roy Ug is surely different from the rest of the stories you heard in the streets. Hustle and Campus on the same boat.

Born in Westnile and a third-year student of computer science at Gulu University, Roy dare proves the world that it’s possible to shoot two birds with a stone.

In simple terms Roy Ug carries the title of an online blogger and music DJ in addition to being a University student. He promotes music and events on his social platforms.

Drawing inspirations from senior promoters Starboy Spragga and manager Dopeboy, its evident and anyone can see the burning passion about the game in his eyes.

Roy took his first shot at the game back from Westnile when he worked for rapper Blutit signed under Lugbara Rap Soldiers then later got deals with Pioneer Music Entertainment, Team Unstoppable and now working with world music headed by Twisky Fingaz(LuoBoy) and managed by a gentlemen only identified as Jude.

While in Gulu he never sits and wait for blessings to follow him. He is a go-getter and very hard working result of this earning him a name of the best campus DJ for doing what he does best at several campus events like fresher’s ball, silent disco, miss Gulu University pageant search and plays music at a local bar called Pioneer Bar and Lounge in Laroo in his free time.

His deejaying skills exposed him to the breweries company club that signed a deal with him to play music at the club dome party on 30th November at Acholi Inn Hotel in Gulu Town.

He is an official promoter for New Era Music in Gulu that signed singer Blamo and Tom Jeans managed by DopeBoy.
