MEET STAYPUT: THE FUTURE OF UGANDA’S HIP-HOP.

In an era filled up with so many upstart rappers struggling for the status of the ‘’next big thing’’ the story of Stayput a rapper from Lira, Uganda, East Africa currently signed to Reekods, he is talented and creative, known for his riches with wordplay and metaphors.

Stayput’s musical career officially kicked off early this year with the release of his EP titled Rango which is inspired by the animation movie titled Rango.

Rango EP constitutes four full length projects in which he featured some of his close associates, Nimo, Spoken eye and Floduct. This project was made up of Anthem, Joacita, Rango and Old Chief Kakande produced by Floduct at Reekods.

He popularized the phrase ‘’iSTAYPUT’’ in his songs and he is a founder member of Reekods music studio and record label in Kampala.
